Amazing dining experience! The cheeses plate was phenomenal. Coconut Thai soup was out of this world. The two together was even better. I’m not a huge fan of undercooked fish but my wife loves it and our plates were basically licked clean! Oh and I’m not a cheesecake person, but I was in heaven with the cheesecake here. We came when the sun was setting and it was the perfect way to spend the last night of my wife’s 20s. Douglass our waiter, was a big part of making our night amazing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a memorable food experience and you don’t mind spending a bit more (totally worth it).

Over priced for the food. You will be paying for the atmosphere and service minus the taste factor. Mussels were rubbery and overly salted. Grouper was bland placed on a bed of Jasmine rice and minced parsley. The parsley overpowered the rice. The rice had so much parsley it tasted and smelt like something I’d feed to a cow or horse. Our bill was $100 for a burger w/fries, grouper, and mussel appetizer. I would not recommend this restaurant if you enjoy a delicious meal over ambience and a view of the bay.

Chef Andrew & Raechel are a dream team! I did the four course tasting menu and everything was out of this world. This is a must if you are in the area. Raechel's service was fun and impeccable. She made me feel welcome, we shared some laughs and the entire experience was fantastic. Chef Andrew has a clear passion for his food and hand delivered each course to the table with an explanation of what it was. My taste buds were thrilled. I did the wine pairing with each course and had a great compliment to each course of white and red. This is my second visit to this restaurant and will be on my list for every visit to San Diego. Keep up the great work Tidal!
