I love that I can get a good burrito for a low price! I have a little hack... get the kids meal. It comes with a drink and 2 sides. I add guacamole to my bean and rice burrito, get the chips and some extra rice. This was a friendly location, with very clean bathrooms! The reason I gave 4 stars is because my tortillia was the texture of cardboard. I ended up just eating the insides with my chips. Im sure they would have been happy to fix but after a long day I didn't feel like the hassle. First time at this location so I'm not sure if it's a common occurrence. I would still probably go back, because of convenience.

Wonderful salmon tacos. Helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of gluten-free options! One of my favorite spots in San Diego.

Great food at reasonable prices. A bit chilly in the restaurant, regardless of the weather outside. Five stars if they fix the thermostat.

I visited this Rubios around 4pm on a Friday... Not busy at all, food was good, salsa bar seemed fresh and look cleaned. So overall good.

Standard fast food Mexican (not local really but leagues better than taco bell). The Baja grill burrito is pretty tasty, chicken is typically dry, but the fixins are decent. Bacon shrimp burrito has some good flavors, but seem to have declined since its original release last year. Churro is good is you make sure they roll it properly. 33% chance it'll have any sugar and cinnamon on it if you don't check. Mango tea is pretty tasty. Green Verde salsa is the best, the rest have just odd tastes. All in all, it's actual Mexican food, but not the same tier as the authentic 'ertos you can find anywhere in san diego. It does fulfill a niche though.
