What can be said about In-N-Out that hasn't already been said? Best burgers, hands down; amazing fries (if you eat them hot - because they are fresh, fresh, fresh); yummy shakes; friendly staff; clean environment. This location is interesting because the way the line snakes through the parking lot - that makes it hard to get in and out (har), but they usually have staff out there to keep things moving. Proximity to 163 makes this spot geographically desirable. :-)

When it comes to American burger I go to Inn N Out. This one on Kearny Mesa have always been busy whether you come in to eat or go for a drive thru order. But I think they are sufficient. No matter how long the wait, they always get it right. My favorite meal is #2 Combo, cheeseburger with no onions please. I also like their chocolate shake. But their french fries is die for. It is real fresh. There is nothing that quite compare to how good their fries are made here. It is the best french fries in the USA!

This location is very friendly. Always get my food quickly. My order is consistently correctly and yummy!! The staff is always very good with kids giving them plenty of stickers and hats to match the staff!

For goodness sake, can someone here remind the drive through employees to actually put ketchup packs into the bag PLEASE!! 50% of the time I've been through here I get no ketchup after replying yes to their "would you like some ketchup?" It's frustrating enough that I have to check. Then the few times I just take it after they enthusiastically replied "OK!!" To my "yes". I came up with no ketchup for my burgers. This happened way too often that I'm prompted to actually write a review to complain. Your burgers are great as usual. Please just address this problem.

Late Yelp Post (11/10/2016): I am never disappointed when it comes to InNOut. They always have superb customer service, the employees always seem happy and cheerful. Although their drive-thru sometimes can pull one heck of a long line, the wait is never usually that long. I love their burgers, especially protein style which is basically lettuce-wrapped style. And I love that I can order a plain grilled cheese and it comes out super crispy on the outside and fluffy, moist on the inside. Not to mention, their fries are incredible, especially when ordered well-done style. Their milkshakes are insatiably delicious-you can even ask for Neapolitan which is a triple stack of vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate.
