We went in for a quick bite & a drink, but just missed happy hour. That's okay because we love ordering the "macho" plate of taquitos. Of course the menu has a fancier name for it! The margaritas were good and so was the food. We enjoyed taking the extra with us to munch on the next day. The only reason for 4 stars was the service was a bit slow. We tend to stay in the bar area on our visits because the mariachis tend to get too loud for us in the dining area. Regardless we always enjoy the food and typically the service is great too. I recommend.

Casa De Pico is a San Diego favorite. It was originally on old Town and was well known for good food and margaritas.. The Mariachis are top notch too. The food or always fresh and guacamole is first rate as is the salsa. They have a great patio now and Sundays is always crowded after church let's out. No reservations needed. Have fun!

Food tasted great. We were a party of 16 and didn't have any complaints on food. Service was pretty decent considering our large group and how busy they were. They also allowed us to split the check per couple/family. Super awesome when you have a big group
