Get there early there's always a wait but it's worth the wait. You can always hang out at the bar I have a drink which are fabulous. Try the surf and turf steak and lobster. Appetizer octopus very good. And of course was not to love about Harbor Island it's almost a hundred eighty degree view of San Diego Harbor. The homemade guacamole server Sean was entertaining and the guacamole fabulous.

Late Yelp Post (10/5/2017): It's a spectacular restaurant that has a great American twist on Mexican cuisine. Stopped by here on my birthday and I was treated with the greatest customer service, I highly recommend Jeff if he still works there. Love the view that's literally sitting right outside your window. Outside, its very nice considering it's right on the bay and there's another area that's like a big floating bar buoy where you can hangout.

Superb high end Mexican food (I want to call it Mexican fusion). I had the half chicken with mole, and the black mole is as closest I've ever had to my grandmas (but then again that may not be someone else's preference). The waitress was friendly and had a great attitude. The view of the bay was very nice. A bit pricey, expect to spend about $40-$50 per person including a drink, but worth it.

To be honest I don't think I tried anything I didn't like. The staff was amazing and they made our family dinner that much better. We celebrated my cousin's college graduation.

Went in with a group on 12+. Had a special event hosted so all entrees and main course we're planned ahead of time. Food was okay. Chicken mole wasn't too bad, but highlight of that meal was chicken was cooked perfect but still lacked flavor from rest of meal. Ceasers salad wasn't too bad, very small but flavor made up for it. I only gave this place 3 stars because the view is unbeatable, but late night smell from the ocean kicks in and the place ends up smelling like a sewer next to you Good place to hang out with a few friends, groups maybe wouldn't recommend it.
