As a Jamaican that travels all across the U.S.A I have to give this place Alot of props and praises, this is my second time back in San Diego and I had to visit this location to get my Jamaican food fix. Side note. When a Jamaican goes to a Jamaican restaurant and say "boss you have no food", we are really saying do you have any dumpling, boiled bananas, yams, potatoes boil plantain etc we are not referring to rice and peas. Real island people know that. So right away when they say yeah man we got food and came out with dumpling, banana, You know I was excited. Great little spot with nice vibe. They even have fried fish. Oh my God.

My mom is from Jamaica so literally every city we travel to we googled best Jamaican restaurants it is very hard to come across restaurants that don’t dull the food down just for the sake of Americans taste buds. When you go to Jamaica and come back to the states you want to taste something authentic. this food was Excellent I felt like I was in Jamaica the waitress was extremely kind and helpful she made us feel very welcome and at home I enjoy looking at the banana trees on the side of the building very good experience. We will visit again when we’re back in town

Real Jamaican fare done well. My daughter and I sat out on their patio deck, I had curry goat and my daughter had shrimp curry - both were delicious. They serve generous portions and service was prompt and courteous.
