I stumbled upon this magnificent eatery quite by accident when I deposited some mail at the adjacent postal annex and was hungry for any food. Up to now, Mexican food was an also-ran for me, because my European background caused me to prefer French, Italian and--Heaven help me--even German food. However, one most delicious meal at Lisa's hooked me for good. The efficient and friendly service makes eating there a real treat. For several weeks now, I have had lunch at Lisa's three times a week and was looking for excuses to eat even more often there. I bet that you would leave from Lisa's place after a meal with similar positive impressions as I had. but it might be a good idea to hurry there for a delectable meal before this little jewel gets so popular that you have to wait a long time before you get served. I have never been treated with such a disrespectful person at any restaurant before. The woman working at the counter before I even walked in was eyeing me from the door and when I walked in to look at the menu I asked for a water cup and she said I can't have one unless I buy food and I said is it ok if I buy a water cup then while I look and she looked at me disgruntled and said it's 1.89 for a bottle and she can't sell me the small water cups. She had the most disgusting attitude I've ever encountered I will not be going back here.

First off the chicken is exceptional and it's the type of good that after you leave your planning when you can come back. I have tried the the beef tacos and machaca burrito big thumbs up! Also, the homemade salsa is really loaded with flavor both mild and spicy. The flour tortillas seem to me like almost homemade and they might be. Same with the refried beans which I'm sure are homemade. Just awesome all the way around!

Great for kids, large to go orders and a super friendly staff. We've dropped by several times or had the husband sent on a mission when I couldn't cook. Never had bad food or poor service. Very clean and quick. A local favorite.

Atmosphere: The parking is a little shoddy, kinda scary at night to be honest because it’s in a center where everything looks dead. But as soon as you walk in the place, you’re greeted with bright and welcoming decoration. It’s very homey and modern with cute decorations. A VERY positive vibe is what you’ll feel. Price: Price is just right. The 4 piece combo was under $10 and it comes with two sides and chips. Food: Their chicken is literally perfection. Got the 4-piece combo with fries and rice. The skin of the chicken is flavorful and it comes with tortillas and once you make a little burrito with the rice and chicken, it’s PERFECT. Lisa, whoever you are, please don’t stop making good chicken.
