Food is good but a little pricey. Kids meal is a great deal. Salsa bar can be a hit or miss, but usually stocked with fresh lemons, limes, cilantro/onionzand salsas. Friendly service, it can be a bit of a wait depending on what you order (grilled seafood of course takes longer). Nice selection of beverages, including a few beers. This location has been messy a few times I've visited; hence the 4 stars.

Always a good experience at Rubio's. The food was good, the staff were friendly, the restrooms, salsa bar, a few drink station were clean. There were only two glitches: the order for one of our party of 8 wasn't ready until most of us had finished our meals, and our children wanted Sprite with their meal but the machine was out of syrup. We let the staff know, and later the manager, but an hour later, the Sprite still hadn't been fixed. Parking was tight, but it didn't take long to find a spot. I recommend the California bowl with shrimp or the shrimp tacos. Yum!

Rubio's is a favorite fast food restaurant! The menu has so many options to satisfy everyone in your group. Lot's of healthy options too. Can select the original fish tacos or go with other choices like shrimp. There are also salads & bowls. Pricing is very reasonable. They also serve beer! Has both indoor & outdoor seating. Location in Escondido near Home Depot on East Valley Parkway. Plenty of parking.

It's Rubio's, the home of the fish taco. Everything is fresh and made just when you order it. The price is pretty spendy, but again it's Rubio's. You get what you pay for, and here you get quality food. What I don't like, about this store in particular, is that phone in orders are sometimes forgotten. Three times I've ordered, gone to pick it up, and found that it is not "in the queue", whatever that means. I've had to wait the same amount of time as somebody who walked up to the counter and made their order. I'm not sure how they screw this up, but it has happened 3 times out of maybe eight. It gets annoying. They even have dedicated parking spots for phone order pick up, so it's not like a phone-in order is a surprise. Still, I keep going back because the food is good.
