Loved this place. Had a delicious coconut curry chicken noodle dish. I could eat this weekly and never tire of it. The staff was incredibly friendly. Food came quickly. Excellent!

The food was good but didn’t wow me. I had really high expectations and was good but I wouldn’t be dying to go back there. The atmosphere and decor is really cute though. There will probably be a wait as well. Lunch specials make it a better deal.

I ate seriously a lot of great food in the Bay Area, but this place had to be the most surprising and most original. Burmese food is a revelation and Burma Superstar showcases it beautifully. Most "pan-Asian" food presented to an American audience is all the same. As if folks are just taking the same dozen ingredients to make the same dozen dishes. But this food was DIFFERENT as well as being delicious. I was so tempted to get their cookbook, but the food was so complex and elaborately made that I fear that we'd never manage to cook from it. I returned home to hunt down a local Burmese food place and I can only hope they are one tenth as good.

This review is long overdue. I've been going to Burma Superstar for a very long time. I know everyone is into the Tea Leaf Salad, but I find the Rainbow Salad to be the best! That is so good! I used to get the Lotus Root entree with chicken, but that seems to have disappeared over the years. A lot of the time, I'll just order the Rainbow Salad, Samusas and a side of coconut rice. The chicken with basil is a really entree too. I just really miss the chicken with lotus root entree.

The food was fine. It didn't feel so delicious to me as it did to many people or may be because of the food that I ordered. It didn't live up to the hype for me but I wouldn't say it was bad. Also parking spot was very hard to get during weekends, we had to search for about half n hour to get a spot.
