Excellent views, pasta is to die for, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. My husband and I loved our pastas and the service was so friendly and quick! We walked in with no reservation at 5:00 on a Saturday and we were in at 5:40... not bad at all. Definitely worth the wait!

A must go seafood delight! Been going for 25 years, love the Oysters Al a Scoma. Great drinks with new creations you should try. Huge wine selections. Go with the fresh catch or their recommendations The hard part is getting a seat! Ask for Matthew. See you there!

I was taken to this restaurant for my anniversary. Believe me when I say I tried to get out of it. I didn't want to sit in a restaurant that smelled of fish or had creatures swimming awaiting their doom. So I balked all the way to San Francisco. When we arrived I thought it's a "Hole in the Wall" from the area we had driven into. Then a valet came to park the car which I found odd because the restaurant appeared very small from the outside. Boy, was I fooled. Inside, you have a reservation counter and a cozy waiting place upstairs with vintage pictures on the wall. There may be a 30 - 45 minute wait but you are not uncomfortable. Drinks may be ordered from the waiting area and it's not drafty. Upon going to the dining room, the doors were slid back and what a view! Elegant dining room with a back wall view of the bay. Service was on point and at the time Walter was my server. He was the most charming man ever. I had the Lobster Provolone Dinner and it was hands-down 5 star! We had a Lovely evening. Two weeks later in-laws from Germany arrived and after hearing about Scoma's took us out to this restaurant. We all had a delightful time and this is now my favorite restaurant. The crab salad is a must! One salad fed 4 adults and we were almost too full for the meal. Excellent! 10 Star!!

Excellent food (3 different items) and service. Didn’t have to wait for seating. Location right on water. Walked to it without problem on Pier 47. How often are you in San Francisco!

Always a great experience. The team in this restaurant is just as good as its food, which is a high standard to meet. When it's halibut season, order the halibut; otherwise go for the swordfish. You'll never be disappointed! Also, who doesn't love wine on tap???
