Clean, friendly, and inexpensive. I was expecting stronger flavors. BBQ pork in rice noodle was a new taste for me. Nice but was expecting more Dim Sum as directed there by Yelp app when entered the search topic. Two noodle dishes plain. Plenty to eat and leftovers a meal for street dweller on next block.

I came with a small group of tourists to check out this restaurant in Chinatown as recommended by our tour guide. We arrived around late noon and there was a small line. The restaurant appeared very small with limited seats. It didn't look like it would accommodate large groups so our group split up and we sat at different tables. I ordered a noodle dish with pork and it was absolutely hearty and delicious. I was hungry and cold and the dish resolved both issues, LOL. Our table ordered the BBQ pork noodle roll which was just okay to me. I enjoyed my noodle dish a lot more. The staff were friendly and they could definitely use more help to speed up the wait time on the line. Thankfully we didnt have to wait a long time for the food. It was impressive that this restaurant has been around for over 100 years and the food was still tasty

This place is good but a bit overhyped. The food is good such as the jook, noodle roll, and fried chow fun. The food is as good as many other places in the bay area though. Limited seating, and air conditioner upstairs is not up to par. Price is really reasonable. I would still recommend this place though.

Overall, for me, this place has been hit or miss. My favorite thing here is the thick chow fun noodle dishes. Very, very good. However, as far as proteins are concerned, you must choose wisely. Everything I've had with pork or duck has been great. However, the chicken and beef is a bit suspect. Once I ordered the beef fried rice and the meat was pinkish-gray, almost unrecognizable as beef. Anyway, if you know what to order here, it's good, but generally, it's fairly average.

Good food and very reasonable price. Try the beef rice noodle soup or the house chow fun. Service was good too.
