The atmosphere of this place was good. The service was fine, no follow up to ask me how my meal was (was sitting at the bar), and the food was so-so. I appreciate the attempt at Indian inspired cuisine, but it lacked the depth of Indian food and it seemed to have been somewhat pre prepared. It’s a bit of a stretch to offer Indian inspired cuisine without the knowledge of the proper utilization of spice. Hollow flavor.

This place could be fantastic with vegan cuisine, great beers and trendy decor but the service was exceptionally abysmal. The bartender last night had the attitude of a petulant teenager and was irritated by every order we placed. The waiter was outraged that we asked to occupy a table and proceeded to shove plates in our faces so much so the the pumpkin pie touched my nose before it had even been placed down. He was incredibly flustered and offered no apology for his style or mistakes. The girl running food from the kitchen was lovely. I’ve never experienced service from a vegan restaurant quite like. The food is average for a vegan restaurant. The drinks are good on reading other comments I suggest people are more likely judging the staff here rather than veganism. An education of customer service is required asap - trendy and moody will never get people returning.

Amazing vegan food. I never thought that tacos could be improved upon, but this place proved me so wrong. Great beer selection on tap. Super cool and friendly staff. One of the best casual eateries downtown San Jose.

My partner and I entered after some chores to be greeted by someone who may have been the happiest person I've ever seen in my life. He felt like he was somewhere between a golden retriever in a ball pit and a kid in a candy store. We looked behind us to see if he recognized a long lost friend, but no. That smile was just for us. Turned out he was the owner, Ryan. Even though we arrived during the lunchtime rush, he made sure our first visit included an intentional and intimate glance over the menu and beer offerings. We loved both our food and our drinks, and ended up ordering take out later that weekend while working a convention. I'll go out of my way to eat here every time I'm in San Jose for work. See you next January, Ryan!

Don't know about the food, but the beer is always great, knowledgeable staff, European atmosphere
