Between eating here for decades.... Same menu, consistent food and good service.... Unfortunately, prices have skyrocketed! Easy to find an upscale dining experience elsewhere.... This is basically a neighborhood hole in the wall. Prices don't reflect the ambiance.

Excellent! You will not be disappointed with this choice for your meal. My friend and I went for dinner, and the first thing you notice are the delicious smells from the food. We had the baked lasagna and veal parmigian with fresh salads, and large glasses of soda. The servings are big enough for two people or one very hungry person. The baked lasagna was excellent from the moment I smelled it, to when it hit my taste buds. The cheese was abundant and baked just right...it was just what I was looking for to satisfy me tonight. My friend enjoyed his veal and spaghetti, and had enough spaghetti for another meal to take home. The bread smelled and tasted delicious. The service was very pleasant, friendly, quick, and just as excellent as the food. We even enjoyed some of the winter Olympics on the TVs mounted on the walls. This is a nice, low key, cozy place that feels comfortable and welcoming. There is none of that snotty pretense you get in other parts of San Jose. It wasn't loud, so you can have an effortless conversation with your dinner partners. Great for families or a date. It was a really good experience and we were happily stuffed by the time we left. Now we are going back for lunch and I can't wait.

Great hole in the wall place. Juke box, vinyl tablecloths, pizza, pasta and sandwiches. Places like this are hard to find anymore.

This place is awesome and i cant believe that it is still here! This was my favorite Italian food place when i was a kid 30 plus years ago and they haven't changed a bit. The food is still amazing! I have compared all other Italian restaurants to Angelo's as my rating system and have yet to find one that can make a better pizza or lasagna.

We have since moved out of the Bay Area but anytime I come back for work, I always make sure I visit. One of the best hole in the walls in San Jose. Great staff, even better Manicotti.
