I revisited this spot after a long time away and it made me so happy. I'm always eager to go over 17 just to make it here and wasn't disappointed. I was a little bummed to see things I had grown up with removed from the menu but was still very excited to dig in. Everything was so hot and delicious it brought a tear to my eye. I love recommending this spot to those who are skeptical of vegetarian and vegan food because it's just so tasty. I am ready and excited to make it back again when I have time.

Went from being an easy 5 to a 3, on a good day. There has been way too many changes in the last couple of months, new ownership/management? Used to stay open later on the weekends now all across midnight. Prices went up, portions got smaller & food changed, sweet potato fries aren't the same :-( Burgers & ice cream are still worth coming in for.

It is my official opinion that Saturn Cafe has the BEST steak fries in Santa Cruz. Hands. Down. The. Best. They also craft a consistently excellent menu if vegetarian fare that makes it worth your while to consume regardless of your meat consumption orientation. As a bonus, their Chocolate Madness is worth a trip all by itself. Plus, it's big enough to share so bring some friends!

Humbling brunchy experience. Excusably dated, this quirky dinner resembles a blast from the past 50's style. Excellent service from a young chap with a sense of subtle charisma and charm. Underrated delicious vegan food, big hearty portions. I was gutted they ran out of ice cream for my root beer float, forgivable as I was full anyway.

Its okay. From some reviews I expected a better experience. The menu online was old so an item that I thought they had, wasn't available. The service was fine but not enthusiastic like I expected a Santa Cruz food establishment to have. I ordered the salad soup half sandwich combo. Soup was creamy tomato and very good. The grill cheese was fine, but my problem was the salad. Parts were brown and not fresh at all! Ugh....so, I may try again to give them another chance....time will tell.
