FANTASTIC food! The server was extremely welcoming and nice, especially considering our table size. The food was on the pricier side, but it was worth it. Originally, they said that the wait would be an hour long, but somehow we were able to get a table in 15 minutes. Definitely plan ahead and get a reservation if you're with a large party. The calamari breading was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside; and it came with three different sauces (tartar sauce, tartar sauce with horseradish (?), and a cocktail sauce). The Pacific Rim Chicken Breast was so juicy that my friend and I almost thought it was raw (don't worry, it was definitely fully cooked). The top sirloin was delicious and came with an amazing steak sauce. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food! They also had a great variety of drinks (but beware, they don't list the prices of the drinks on their menu). Overall, great place to go to if you're looking for a date night with delicious food and drink.

With a proper update of the interior and the menu it could be good as the location has so much potential. As it is though not so much. We were seated at a table in a walk way of sorts. Way too many tables and people packed together like sardines. The waitress hit me in the back while trying to squeeze through to her tables. I would think that the restaurant may have exceeded an occupancy level to maintain safety. Regardless, it was not comfortable for dining. The service was quite slow. The food felt like something I'd get in a 1980's cafeteria. Sad to say that this place was a big miss!

We enjoyed our visit here. Great reviews from all the sources. The restaurant is on the main floor and reservations save one from a long wait. We were upstairs in the bar area with a great menu, live music on a Tuesday night. The views were spectacular! Looking back toward the public wharf area at sunset was a treat. Give them a try especially if you are visiting.

The food was great the service was good the views from their patio are excellent. There's a lot of parking and easy access to the area where it is. it's great that it's away from the boardwalk so there are no large crowds to deal with. And last, they have a list of specialty drinks that are fantastic. Try the tsunami it won't let you down

My husband and I have been going to the Crow's Nest since we the late 1970's. We were in our 20's then. We take friends and family there when they are in town. It is located right next to the Santa Cruz harbor so boats are coming and going. We've always enjoyed it. The food is fabulous and the specialty drinks are exceptional. We were there last night for a friend's birthday and sat upstairs in the bar which has two outdoor seating areas. One Wednesday Night's Happy Hour appetizers and well drinks are half off all night. It can be busy and has open seating but if you keep an eye out you can snag a table without much of a wait. It's worth it. Our service was fist rate, (Thanks Allison). They have live music and a dance floor. A great time was had by all. You gotta go experience it for yourself.
