Went there first time last week. We were impressed by the size of the restaurant and the nice open feel. They have a lot of parking so getting in and out is easy. Food was average and lacked flavor that we typically associate with authentic Mexican food.

I love the ambiance! It's a very homey and traditional feel with art from all over Mexico. The layout is open and airy. They have an impressive selection of tequilas which you can enjoy in a margarita by the glass or by the pitcher. We enjoyed the 1800 Silver. I had the chicken soup which was amazing! I would come here just for the soup. We got the street tacos, I had the tacos al pastor. These are great tacos! They are very good. Now the taco trucks in San Jose, especially Taco Mania, will be better; but these are the best I've had in a Mexican restaurant setting. Our server was very nice and the service was fast. I'm definitely coming back. Again!!

Nice restaurant, the food is delicious and authentic, service is good! I had shrimp tacos on my last visit and was not disappointed. If you like spicy salsa ask the waiter, it does cost extra but it’s much more spicy than the one they serve. My husband likes the beef fajitas, you got a try these!

Visited this restaurant a few times. Good selection and good service. A bit disappointed in tequila selection and my company wasn't impressed with other drinks. The food is good! I still highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for some good Mexican food. I plan on coming back again to try other things and review other drink options.

El Patio is a restaurant that is from the La Casita family on Fremont Boulevard. I use to go to this restaurant when it was just a tiny hole in the wall in Glen Park neighborhood. It is still delicious as it was back then. I always get the shredded beef taco, and the chicken & rice soup is soooo yummy. The chips aren't as good as they use to be but the margaritas sure are! Going on the weekends is super duper crowded, but if you go in the middle of the day, you won't have to wait at all.
