05/12/19 Went to Maddio’s a bit late this evening. As usual, we were treated like their favorite customer! Hubby had a Big Max, and I had a Four Cheese with lots of veggies and a side salad. The salad ingredients were crisp, fresh, and tasty. The pizzas were wonderful! The fresh ingredients really do make a difference! Everyone was cheerful and attentive... except for one young man who didn’t know quite what to say - probably his first day. Justin is the manager. He makes sure that everything is exactly what you wanted, and then comes back to check on how it tastes. He is kind and courteous to his staff, and maintains a high energy level. We live nearby, but only stop there once a month or so. I don’t know why we don’t think of it more often. It’s the perfect mix of sit down meal and fast food! On the way home, we remarked that we definitely need to go to Maddio’s much more often! Julie

Hungry? Hurry down to Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint! This place is fun and awesome! Every time I come here , I just fall deeper and deeper and deeper in love with this place! The staff is ALWAYS super friendly and welcoming! The GM, Justin, has built and maintained an awesome team! The food is delicious, and the team members know what they are serving. They have huge array toppings available to match everyone's taste buds, and preferences, many of them are made in house, and it all tastes great! They even have white or wheat option for pizza! But if you're not in the mood for pizza they have a great and delicious menu to choose from! What I really liked is that the people that work there are proud of where they work, and the food that they serve. I've been working in the restaurant management industry for 9 years now, and it's hard to find a efficient friendly team. Good job Justin! See you next time!

My fiancee and I have gone to a few made-to-order pizza places in the greater area and this is the one we keep coming back to. Initially, we weren't impressed by the customer service, but the pizza was better than the others. Since my SO has numerous allergies, it's hard to find options outside of the house. We both agree that their gluten-free crust is tastier than most (especially the one we've had at Whole Foods), and they have vegan cheese, which helps as well. They have a number of specialty pizzas, but we've only created our own, so we get it our way for about $10. We both love the wings, too. We haven't been in the Denver area long, and I understand there was a drop-off in customer activity, but there's a new GM present who goes well above the call of duty and is showing his team how to do the same. I can definitely tell, and his being there made our second visit much more enjoyable. I told him that. You should give this Uncle Maddio's location a shot, especially if you wrote it off at some point, because the changes are evident and as they continue, you should be treated to increased friendliness/attentiveness and an all-around affordable outing. The new manager, to me, seems to be interested in bringing the "neighborhood" kind of vibe to his store, and I'm all for that.

Excellent pizza, they have great choices of specialty pizzas. Choosing one was difficult, I want to try them all. We settled on the big Max on wheat and it was amazing. Topping amounts we're good... Not skimpy like other places but not overwhelming either. Cheese and sauce were perfectly portioned as well. Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

We love this place! Everything is fresh and you can taste it. Portion sizes are good and staff is both friendly and helpful. We really enjoy eating here.
