This was a very unique experience for me which was what I was after. Very nice people, non typical decorations, but definitely well kept and proud of Samarkand. The vegetable beef soup was great, and the cake and black tea was awesome. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Amazing good. Great service. My favorites are Shurpa, Manti and their fresh salad is to die for. Shish Kababs are great too. It’s “not too spicy” mid eastern kind of food, Uzbekistan food actually. If you miss the old owner of Ariana Kabob Cafe on Parker and Yale, this is the closest alternative.

Was a pretty decent place. An Uzbeki friend recommended it. Had good food at a decent price. Somewhat cozy little restaurant. It did, however, seem like we were waiting for our food for a long while... like they had to kill the horse in the back yard.

Don't know anything about the food as we didn't make it that far! Entered a Sunday evening about 6. Place almost empty. Got menus and waited about 10 minutes. People with bags coming in to back area and someone standing by door and holding it open for nobody, making us cold. Seemed there was no interest in serving us so we left.
