PSA: My family and I went to the Murphy Creek Tavern tonight for a small Valentine's Day dinner, and to support our community amenity taking advantage of thier special menu tonight. Unfortunately we were unable to stay due to a bunch of alcohol fueled loud mouths at the bar. The dining room was about 3/4 full but we literally had to nearly had to yell to one another at the table just to hear one another. My daughter has sensory issues and highly loud noises are amplified 10 times to her. We explained this to the GM, who replied that the bar customers were regulars and kind of feel as though they are entitled. She suggested to them that they please tone it down and they just got louder. Several other diners were visibly irritated, but weren't saying anything. Eventually we just had to ask for our meal to go.......which ended up being wrong anyway. The response from the Assistant Manager was that they were paying customers. Well.......SO ARE WE, and every other patron who was there as well! This group was obviously over served. My wife and I bartended for several years and encountered several similar situations. When you have a group disturbing your other guests it's time to hand them their check and wish them well till the next time. I doubt we will ever go back in spite of the fact we enjoy the food there, not to mention this was the 2nd time our order was wrong.

Loved this place 3 years ago but has gone down hill. Carry out is always disappointing. Last time wings were raw and not the first time this had happened since they changed them. Had been promised a call back when I called to advise but never received that call back. Tonight's prime rib ordered for carrying out was the 14 ounce size and 7 ounces of it was fat. When I went back with it excuses were made instead of professionally handling it. Steak house prices but diner quality.
