We love this place. Been coming here for a few years. Friendly staff and always great food. The pork avocado burrito plate is fantastic.

El Padrino was an okay experience. I was there for a friend's birthday, but wasn't overly satisfied with the service. I felt as though my server was too busy to take genuine care of our table. Maybe it was an understaffed night? The restaurant offers an entry way that looks and feels like a 5 star restaurant, which is saying a lot for what they had to work with. I wasn't too pleased with the lighting, one or two of the lights above our table we're either turned off or needed replaced, because our table was fairly dark. Those two things are the reason for the four stars, but other than that, the restaurant offers a lot of Mexican food choices and all of it was fantastic!

Not super packed like a lot of Mexican restaurants, so its nice to be able to go and be seated quickly. Nice atmosphere, really cool people. Good food also.

Yummy... I have a difficult time finding a Mexican restaurant that has flavorful food as my favorite restaurant in Phenix City, AL.. El Padrino does have flavor and value for the money... I'd enjoy it again next time I come to Colorado Springs
