Dickey's has good bbq and sides. Multi-meat plates are a great way to try different items. Service is quick. The restaurant is clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Their online ordering is a great option whether you are eating at the restaurant or getting your food to go. Dickey's is in the shopping plaza with Jersey Mike's, Zoup, and Freddy's. There is plenty of parking, even at the busiest times. The restaurant is most easily accessed off of Interquest Parkway.

Great meat and sides, but wow it seems expensive. Just to purchase a simple (and small) lunch can easily go over $10. If I can source a coupon I like to visit them, but at full street price I'll head over to Bird Dog. A family of 4 can run you over $50. For a sit down restaurant I could let it slide, but for the self service fast food vibe it puts off it seems out of place. I guess it is at least worth noting that the meal does include free soft serve Ice cream, so maybe it isn't all that bad?

My husband and I went earlier today and had an AWFUL time. The food was lukewarm at best and ill prepared. The workers had a nasty attitude and one of them even THREW food on the plate that was three feet away. It wasn't something solid like a roll either, it was pickles. The cashier apologized for her behavior but it wasn't her fault and it should have never happened in the first place. I was very disappointed in their actions.

So food is good, service is great... But I am not returning because of all the plastic waste. Hideous! High quality plastic forks, and the cups are non biodegradable... 500+ years just so you can drink soda for 20 minutes. Nope, figure it out and go to a smarter place for dead meat.

I know all Dickey's restaurants are franchised, and this one is the worst I have been to. The manager was incredibly rude to me, my mother and grandmother when we ordered kids meals. We don't eat much and the portions for the kids meals are perfect for us. When I ordered mine, he made a snide comment that I was too big for a kids meal. I wasn't sure if he was being passive aggressive about an adult ordering a kids meal or not. Turns out he was. After my mom and grandma placed their order, he said he'd let us have the kids meal this time, but next time we'd have to order a full meal. There certainly won't be a next time. It's appalling treatment. Other Dickey's restaurants have never had an issue with me ordering a kids meal. And competitor, Bird Dog BBQ, certainly has never made such remarks. I will not be returning and will not tolerate being badgered for opting for smaller meal sizes. I don't want a full meal and 2 sides - I barely finished the kids meal.
