This place is my favorite in all of Colorado Springs. Service is fast. Food is the closest taste wise to Japan that I have found. My wife is Japanese and she loves it.

My wife and I moved to the Springs 9 months ago from coastal Delaware, where we were spoiled on sushi. After an alarmingly bad experience at AI Sushi, and being dealt mediocrity at Fuji Bistro and Kohnami we were about ready to give up. Jun was the last vestige of hope. The sushi and service were both excellent. It's difficult to understand how there are any bad reviews of this place. If I were to have any grievance, I was alarmed by the inexplicable addition of krab meat to their spicy tuna mixture. I was willing to overlook it based on the quality of the overall experience. I highly recommend

Best atmosphere and service in Colorado Springs. No finer sushi restaurant!

My rating is based solely on the Ramen, which is the only thing I ever get there, the reason I showed up in the first place, and the reason why I will always go back. The Chashumen Ramen (pork) is absolutely delicious. I spoke to one of the owner's on a chance meeting over lunch, and he described the work and time they put into their broth, the results of which you can immediately see and taste. The Ramen is a darker shade of brown, clear to the bottom of the bowl (without noodles), and comes out steaming hot with loads of veggies inside along with an egg and lots of yummy tender pork. I'm always full and satisfied, even before I chug the broth. The entire dish is quite traditional and exactly what you would expect in a Chashumen Ramen. It's also, in my opinion, the best Ramen in Colorado Springs, just edging out Rooster's downtown. The difference is that I'll eat lots of other things off the menu at Rooster's and their Ramen is very very good, but when I want the best ramen in town I go to Jun's.

Jun is a fantastic sushi spot either for dinning in or take-out! Jun is there most days and always will strike up a conversation with you at the sushi bar. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. They have a wide range of options on the menu, including items from the kitchen if raw fish isn't your thing. One of our favorite restaurants overall in the Springs.
