The term "soul food" is an understatement in this restaurant. The food is served right off the stove fresh and the spices from the catfish to the amazing gravy is exquisitely delicious! So mouthwatering that makes you want more, even while you are eating it! The owner and chef is kind and personable who I can tell likes to make people smile with her cooking =) Going to start ordering delivery from here on out instead of Dominos- they are just that good!!

Literally the best soul food in town. I’m from the South and the military brought me to Colorado. It has been very hard to find foods that truly taste like home, yet I’ve found it!! Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed

First of all, everything is made from scratch, so your order will take a bit of time. Be prepared to wait a bit or call ahead. This isn't a negative - just be aware. We were more than happy to wait. We had catfish, blackened, with peppers and onions. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. The portions are generous. The blackening spices were bold. The side of mac and cheese was large, and was "Southern style" - as a former Southerner, it was perfect - gooey, cheesy, and more like a casserole than a pasta dish. Our little one had catfish nuggets with okra. Both were gobbled up. Her catfish was crisp and light. We'll be back again soon. The owner and her helpers are so nice, and the food is wonderful.

I really enjoyed the food. I got the Cajun Catfish. It was so moist and delicious. You could tell the food was well prepared. However, the interior could use a lot of work.
