The food is wonderful but the “customer service” leaves a bit to be desired. My order wasn’t correct and when I called to clear it up I was hung up on twice before I actually got contact info for a manager who then checked to see what happened that Said he’s going to be looking into it. Given that I wasn’t being rude, I just wanted to know if I was charged for what I didn’t receive, that was ridiculous. Probably shouldn’t hang up on paying customers.

Initially was very pleased, then something changed (not sure if it is new ownership or what) yet the last several times the food has taken much longer and has not been consistently good. I have yet to see one woman on the staff only men, which could be part of the problem. May try the location on 8th Street to see if the result is any better.

Terrible!!. Took the chef's veggie special, which comes with variety of dishes and except for the chai and samosa, nothing tasted good. This is the result of storing curries for days together and reheating it repeatedly till they lose their flavour. We were aware that they do not serve fresh curries, but we were not expecting such old ones. We tried conveying our disappointment politely, but the the person who waited on us just scooted away. The overpriced bill which we paid at the end was really not worth it!!!

The food was good. But not exactly to my liking taste wise. I prefer this other indian restaurant closer to where I live. I think I like the atmosphere here better though. Better location

Absolutely the best of its kind. Indian dishes are excellent, but the real treats are in the Nepali and Tibetan specialties -- try the chicken Chau Chau! And don't listen to the reviews about customer service, I've chatted with employees about what food they eat when they travel to Nepal and they are always fast, always smiling. I go here literally every time I can afford it with my girlfriend, it's a regular date night spot. Pictures of beautiful and challenging Himalayan summits are a plus for aspiring Colorado mountaineers! Update: I have just tried the downtown location as well and while it is just fine, it is completely underwhelming compared to the flintridge location. The meal I always get, the Chau Chau, was much worse, less quality. However, it makes the Flintridge location just that much better!
