Do not let the outside fool you. Honestly we looked at this place online for about 2 weeks after an intense craving for potato. We finally went and when we pulled up it was in a bad location and the sign was faded. I thought, "no" but we went in because I'm not going to let something so small stop me from trying it. We went it and we sat ourselves. Which is a huge plus in my book. The lady who served us was a gem. She understood my lack of German vocabulary and joked with me. She was on point and attentive. The gentleman we spoke with was cool. He wasn't just another restaurant robot. He was real and spoke to us like we were his friends. We ordered the potato balls with the cheese inside and OH MY POTATO HEAVEN they were phenomenal. They serve it with a delicious sour cream dip. I could eat those all day! Ur food was so good and we did NOT leave hungry. The portion sizes are unbelievable. The price was great! We are about 75 dollars worth of food from a normal chain restaurant in under 40. The mushroom sauce is a sauce that I could drink! It was so good! Do not pass up on trying this place. Also, of you Google "potato restaurant" it's the first to pop up..... for a reason. THANKS Google! Will be back! I am excited to try ALL of the tea.

The staff is super friendly and know their German foods. The chef is adorable and very quick. The waiter is very personable. Now the food is off of the chart. If you leave hungry it is your own fault. Would and will recommend this place to everyone.

Every once in a while when traveling you come across a hidden gem of a place to eat. The Potato House is one such gem. So well hidden that people I was visiting about 8 blocks away didn't even know it existed, Google Maps showed me that it was there. I haven't had German food that good in a long, long time. It isn't the biggest place in the world, but it's warm and inviting. The staff is very courteous and the food...well, it's just something you have to try out.

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. We ate there for the first time this evening. I was not disappointed. The food (chicken cordon bleu) was amazing. Also, we had the bread and butter for an appetizer, came with three types of butter that were very tasty. The staff was very friendly as well. We will be going back.

This restaurant was excellent because of the staff service and the food. To begin, the owner patiently discussed the menu to help us decide. Our food was prepared to perfection with large portions. I love soup and have a new favorite that can only be found here. My partner ordered a salad and raved about the extraordinary taste of their special dressing. We also ordered full dinners and had enough for an extra meal. There are many other dinners that I want to taste, so I plan on numerous visits. Thank you for bringing in a new variation of German cuisine!
