My wife and I stopped here when we first moved to the Springs. In NY, there wasn’t a great choice of AHTHENTIC Mexican cuisine, so we decided to try many places. The prices here are decent, especially for the amount of food you get. The food itself isn’t too bad. I’m from NY, while my wife is from TX, so she is the more reliable judge (this is here star rating). We have had the enchiladas and nachos. The enchilada meals are great, but in both of our opinions, there are many other local restaurants with better nacho platters.

Wow. I am not being overly critical here, just honest. If I prepared at home what I was served, I would apologize profusely that there had been a cooking user error and that we were going out for dinner. The beef soup that was "only served on weekends" (must be special, right?) was an extremely cheap cut of meat (that's OK if you do it right) and boiled into the consistency of rubber. I could not cut it with the utensils I was given. My search for comfort food was foiled and quite BAD. I mean to say, the worst meal I have ever been served in a restarant from here to Southeast Asia. No kidding. My husband got the "Peruvian" fried rice. It was flavorific (tons of MSG. Food cheating) overly salty and boring. I'll never get that $40. back. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I really feel people must be warned about places claiming to serve real food, when they just don`t. Don't be fooled by the menu. It all looks quite tasty in print.

Nice people good food family friendly

They no longer serve Aji De Gallina so we were quite sad since that was the dish we missed the most from Peru. The Lomo Saltado was delicious but the fish was incredibly dry with just french fries and a salad with no dressing.

The food is excellent, the service is great, and they're always friendly. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in town.
