This place is great! I drove all the way from Northern Westminster to try it. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and will help you choose what to eat if you're unsure. I ordered a chicken and vegtable pot pie, sausage roll and mashed potatoes and gravy. I highly recommend The Great Australian Bite!

The food was really delicious! They are easily able to accommodate a peanut allergy. My picky kids ate with gusto. Staff was kind and helpful. NOTHING on the menu is low fat/calorie so keep that in mind. At the end of lunch time when we went they were out of a few things.

Fantastic food and service! Don't be put off on the food being in a display case everything is fresh and delicious. I had the steak and onion pie, sausage roll, mushy peas, and a fosters for around $20 and I am stuffed. The pie and roll crust was perfectly buttery and flakey. And the mushy peas were seasoned and delicious. This is one of the best places that I have eaten since I arrived in Denver 3+ years ago. A definite must try!

Found this place on the "South Africans living in Colorado" FB page... I think we got there a bit early right at 11am opening time. So the pies were not baked that morning but most likely left from the previous day. Also, they do not do Kangaroo pies as apparently the US government saw fit to ban the import of Kangaroo several months ago. Now that that's out of the way, I will say that the sausage rolls are as close to the SA garage shop sausage rolls as I have found anywhere. Furthermore, the pies are big and tasty. Prices are good, they guy that was there serving is friendly and so I would recommend this place to anyone, and especially to South Africans, cause the aroma of pastry made savory hits you the moment you walk in. All things considered I will certainly be stopping by there again. And don't forget to enjoy a Fosters - a beer that is as close to the real thing as you can get anywhere...

Lived 5 years in Brisbane, Australia and this place is authentic and legit! Loved LeeAnne and the other Aussies. I go every time I am in town. I would recommend the mince meat pie. Delicious!
