What a cool little place! The service was great and the staff was friendly. The interior decoration is nice on the eyes and the lighting was good. They even have an area for kids to hang out, play and watch kid movies. The food had great portions for the price and was delicious too. I'd recommend trying it out.

The menu might be a little limited, but in this case, that's a good thing because everything is prepared correctly and thoughtfully. The food is excellent, and the servers knowledgeable. Even better, they will happily cater to any dietary needs and adjust things accordingly. Vegan and vegetarian dishes available, which is nice if you're into that. A full bar is available and the place has a really cool casual vibe. There is a free parking garage right around the corner with plenty of space, so you don't even need to worry about parking.

Food is good as well as the service. Good options for those who are gluten free, vegan, and such. I have been three times, the first two they were really quick, but this last time it took quite a while for the food (45 minutes from when we ordered until food arrived - 6 plates). I will probably go back.

Food is ok, not great. Don't order a side of avocado - they portion it out into cups and put said cups in the freezer, and then serve frozen avocado to the customers. One of my dining companions said his burger was the worst he's ever eaten. I will say the shrimp and cheddar grits are phenomenal!! The service is slow, so don't come here if you are in a rush or want to eat in the near future. We were there for 2 hours because it took so long for our food to come, and they really weren't that busy. It makes me sad because I used to love this place and everything about it, and now I don't think I'll be back. Tip: Please train your servers to have better listening skills!!

I've lived right down the block for a few years now, and previous ownership of restaurants that held this space failed on nearly every account, every time. I know The Goods is totally different ownership and management, but for some reason it took me quite a while to really give it a shot. I finally went in again for dinner on my parents' last night in town, and we were all BLOWN away. Excellent atmosphere, attentive service, and a creative menu that did not disappoint. In fact, the food far exceeded our expectations! I only wish I had gone in for dinner sooner. But now I think I know where my neighborhood "spot" will be. Can't wait to try out the brunch!
