The minestrone soup is the best! The mussels are wonderful. The pasta dishes of the day are worth leaving home for. The employees are friendly and fun people. Never had a bad meal or time at the College Park location.

The service was good. Cute pizza place.... Now, the food.... What in THE hell happened. Let's start with the appetizers. Fried mozzarella, half inch of breading both sides and not mozzarella. No flavor whatsoever. Salads, dressing is "raspberry vinegar" more like raspberry syrup. Caprice salad, the mozzarella was very old and white liquid all over the tomatoes from the old or bad cheese. Again no flavor. "Olive oil was yellow color! BBQ chicken pizza, chicken pieces on a crust, then they pored a half gallon of BBQ sauce on top of the pizza. Very sugary and swimming in the BBQ sauce. If you're Italian or familiar with pizza how it should taste in general, then you will be very much disappointed...

I lowered their stars from 5 to 3 because of the recent service rendered. Some employees are a bit gruff, and their pasta special isn't as advertised. The pasta special portions are small and only include a limited selection of pasta. Most irritating, however, is how I can't eat lunch in peace. The manager, I believe, speaks so loudly that it disrupts an otherwise enjoyable meal. It's possible I'll revise this review upwards, but only after consistently good service. I plan on limiting the amount of times I visit Mama Lucia's because of the mediocre portions and loud manager. I much rather eat in peace elsewhere. Originally I was impressed; however, now I'm just disappointed and understand their low reviews.

Greeted with a girl that rolled her eyes and said follow me, sit there enjoy your meal and left. I can understand having a bad day, but the food... The appetizer bread was burnt and soggy at the same time! The olive oil dip tasted of cooking oils, the house salad was ok if it wasn't drowning in their dressing. The noodles and sauce on my entree were terrible, the noodles bland and the sauce tasted of nothing but salt. The other meals in my party were all similar, bland and over salted.
