Great place to come to. Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Had spaghetti and meatball, fettuccine Alfredo. Home made mozzarella cheese with tomato n oil. Dessert. Home made lemon tart cream cake. Very good. Also crime brûlée. Great. Gonna come back for sure even tho there are many good Italian restaurants within walking distance!

We have been going to Positano, with friends and family, for almost 3 decades. Have known the owners and the longtime staff for just as long. When we worked in downtown Bethesda, this was our favorite spot for Office farewells and Christmas parties. We have taken several of our overseas guests there for dinner. The food is always delicious, and service warm and courteous. The outdoor sitting in the late Spring and Summer is charming. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a quick lunch or lingering dinner

Amazing ambiance! Loved the romantic, cozy atmosphere in the party room. The singer/musician was wonderful! It is my third time here and can't wait to come back. Last time I came it was with my mother in law who is very knowledgeable of gourmet food... especially authentic Italian, & she enjoyed it. I really wanted to come here to have a romantic dinner to celebrate Valentine's & it was perfect! I find the price reasonable considering the excellent service and warm atmosphere.

Been here a couple times. Intimate indoor dining space with great food. Their red sauce has so much flavor. Great service.

Our retirement party at Positano's was a huge success! The servers were so very kind and sweet, the "Old Positano" room was the ideal size for a party of 50, there was a perfect set-up for a DJ, and everyone loved the appetizers and food. This is our 3rd party at Positano's. Thank you Jimmy and your staff for helping us create a memorable event.
