We really enjoyed the delicious food and atmosphere. We had great service. There were lots of nice seafood options and delicious sandwiches. We sat on the back porch and the tables were a little too close together. Our table was okay, but there was a gentleman a tables over at a corner seat who constantly had people and waiters bumping into him as he was in the only pathway back to the restaurant- I felt pretty bad for him. It's an expensive meal, and trying to force so many tables into small spaces can make the experience less than enjoyable for customers.

Loved my meal of mildly spicy shrimp and grits -- yum! The atmosphere is fun and elegant -- everything fits with the nautical theme. Our server did not rush us, was attentive without being overbearing, and was sincere and charming. It would be nice to eat outside, but both times we have eaten at the Boathouse, the sun has been going down and there would have been an uncomfortable amount of glare. Downside is how crowded, and therefore a bit loud, it is. But I would definitely go back when at Disney.

For the money, the food and service are better elsewhere in Disney Springs. My husband and I decided to bring our 2 year old and 10 month old for a nice afternoon lunch. Upon sitting at our table, we were provided with a damaged fork, a fork with dried food on it, a dirty water glass and bread plates that looked like they had seen better days. Our drinks came but our bread came 1 minute before our entrees. Our kids mac and cheese had a chemical taste to it. My coconut shrimp tasted like it came out of the freezer section of the supermarket and was served with a creative dipping sauce of ketchup. My husband's pulled pork sandwich was dry and uninspired. The "scratch kitchen" appears to be anything but. When we took our kiddos to the companion bathroom, it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while and the trash can was broken. This was our fourth visit to the Boathouse but it will probably be our last. There are so many great spots in Disney Springs, but the Boathouse has proven to be mediocre at best.

What a wonderful experience. I recommend making a reservation. When I went there was a long line for you to be seated. Thank God I made the reservation because I would I had to wait a good hour. I sat down I had to appetizers I really like the coconut shrimp. The cod was really good. My boyfriend got the steak he loved it and my brother-in-law got swordfish and it was delicious. My waiter was a little slow. Everything else was perfect. ❤️

I really wanted this to be a 5 star experience. I came to Disney on my honeymoon and read about the Boathouse, me and my wife would very excited to try it. Let me just say this. Service and appetizers were amazing, actual main courses were overpriced and well... Not very good. Pros: - Service of the waiters, hostesses, etc was fantastic - Honey glazed rolls were delicious - Calamari appetizer was phenomenal Cons: - Overpriced for the quality of the food we received - Fillet I ordered was undercooked on the inside but... Charred on the outside... It kind of tasted like chewing on a little bit of charcoal sometimes. Overall it did not taste like a prime cut of a steak (for 50$ 😲) - Coconut shrimp straight up had chlorinated aftertaste Since main courses were disappointing, I cannot recommend this place for dinner, maybe some appetizers and pretty cool boat like Florida vibe. With all that said (I try to give a new place at least 2 tries) I hope I get to do another run at this place maybe next year and hopefully have a much better experience.
