I feel like I have found a jewel, a little resturaunt tucked away off the main strip of big bend and 301. I visited this place for the first time last night. I had the snapper special and was a beautiful piece of snapper cooked to perfection, it was perfectly seasoned with a white wine sauce spicy with just the right amount of garlic red pepper spices. The sides I choose was black beans and yellow rice, and the plantains fried perfectly. Everything was seasoned just perfect. I am so excited to have found this new treasure and can’t wait to come back soon! I also had the pleasure to meet and speak with a gentleman whom I thought with how attentive he was I inquired if he was the owner to my surprise he was the manager very friendly.

My family and I come here almost every Friday and have dinner. The food is always excellent and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to anyone in the area that wants some good Cuban food to come here.

First timers- Order the Cuban Wannabe Fantasic food cooked by a pro! I have eaten here for 6 months and have had every item on the menu. This mom and pop gem is a favorite for the community and is very welcoming. It can get busy during lunch hour so try to stop by a little before 11:30

The best food you can imagine. Loved it and will return soon! Found this place on accident driving to Jersey Mike's and couldn't have been happier with a nice change of pace. Ordered the vegetarian meal: rice, beans, avocado and plantains; appetizer of crisp plantains with cilantro dip...delicious! Very impressed. Recommend.

We were offered the daily specials of oxtail or curried goat, and chose oxtail. It was delicious and we could taste the slow simmer of the dish. The empanadas (chicken and beef) were also amazing. We're from our of town but they will be on our list to visit every time we return to the area. The service was good, great pace of the meal and affordable for our family of 5.
