Although I considered this restaurant one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta I'd have to give it one star. My husband and I went out for "Valentine's Eve" and two of our dishes tasted very fishy and not fresh at all. He ordered the Petite Lobster Pot Pie as an appetizer and he said it tasted very fishy and not good. I had ordered the Cobia which tasted very fishy and I could not finish eating it after the first couple bites. Everything else was good, but I wish they would pay more attention to the freshness of their seafood because it put a hamper on our date night out.

We have always enjoyed Atlas, but our recent meal there was absolutely exceptional. It was one of the best meals we have have had in Atlanta in a very long time. The Diver Scallop Crudo was off the charts [we both had) the strawberry beet salad tasted like it had come from the farm that day (we shared) and the halibut and sturgeon mains were divine. There was barely a speck on our plates after each course! Nick and James at the bar, Sam the sommelier who helped with dinner pairings, and Our amazing server as well as the new manager, who stopped by to say hello, were really fabulous. It’s no wonder we see a celebrity every time we go. Kudos to Atlas for keeping the Atlanta dining scene at the top of its game!

This review pertains only to the bar. If you are serving $15 drinks, then at least provide service. Don't leave me having to walk into the bar to find our server after waiting 20+ minutes for him to come around. Drinks are for drinking and that's hard to do when you are empty.

Great restaurant. Only reason it gets three stars is their vegetarian menu wasn't tasty. I'm sure meat eaters would give it a 4/5.

My girlfriend and I spent Valentine’s Day at Atlas and it was exactly as advertised and then some. The evening was less of a meal and more of an experience including facetime with Chef Grossman, and friendly but not overbearing interactions with our server, Dimitri, Tyler, Chris, Les, and Sam, all members of the restaurant team who seemed not only willing but enthusiastic to get to know us and contribute positively to our night. The food itself was exceptional. We left feeling like we had eaten satisfying portions of artfully produced food. The courses were well timed, and being able to see the line take cares with each dish gave us confidence in the quality of what we were eating. I recommend Atlas without hesitation and will be back soon.
