Zippy’s is the main source of comfort food in Hawaii. The Kailua location is relaxing and comfortable. It’s decent sized and offers various different dishes that you only find in Hawaii. I often joke around and say “I miss the islands because of Zippy’s” and there is some truth to that. 😂

Great place!! Plenty of options to choose from. Also, the aroma of fresh baked breads is so enticing. Highly recommend.

Every and I mean EVERY time I order food from the fast-food area of Zippy's-Kailua they are OUT of at least one of the Specials of the Day. Usually the item I wanted to order. And the DRIVE-THRU pickup line is extraordinarily long in the evenings, most especially Friday nights! So I've been ordering from other Zippys restaurants. FYI one of the workers who handles phone orders has a strong Non-English language accent, which makes it difficult to understand him...just a heads-up on that. If u want your order to be correct you must exercise extreme patience. On a happier note...Zippy's-Kailua's sit-down restaurant area is excellent! Friendly staff and there are more food choices, helpful when the Specials of the Day are sold-out.

I love all the many choices of meals they have to offer. Their fried chicken and custard pie is two of my favorites.
