The food was pretty good, tasty, but didn’t blow my socks off. I had the Baja fish bowl. I liked the different salsas to choose from at the salsa bar. What pissed me off was the girl working there. She never had any enthusiasm, never smiled, and never welcomed us or greeted us. Makes me not want to go back...She kept looking at me while I was eating me food and it was irritating me. I don’t know what her deal was.

I had two hard tacos (one chicken and one steak). Both were really good and the steak was yummy - hats off to the cook! The salsa bar was closed and no hot sauce 🌶🌶🌶? I’m giving 2 stars because of the cashier! I really hope everything is ok in her life. She has a bad attitude and looks like she hates her job. Definitely not the friendly, aloha spirit a business wants representing them. Yiks!

I went into Maui Taco's today for the first and LAST time! I was really looking forward to my meal when I got home. But it tasted bland and I didn't get everything I ordered. Nothing worse than getting home and finding that out...is this a jack in the box where you have to look in the bag before you leave?? But ok it happens , so I call and the young man was nice but passed the phone to a young lady that was rude and basically told me it was my fault I didn't get everything in my order. The WORST customer service I have experienced in Kailua! She sarcastically said "we are know for our salsa bar" what the....? She offered no solution ... I'm shocked she is being put in front with the customers! Worse yet it looked like she might be actually training the nice young man??? Please stop the training before you have 2 rude employees !! Manager wasn't there...OBVIOUSLY!! don't waste your money to be treated disrespectfully here!!

Girl working the cashier was very rude. We walked up and she just looked at us, said nothing the entire transaction. Tacos were just OK. We got the fish tacos and soft ground beef tacos. Will not be returning. Kids got good food and service next door at Freddy’s.

The food was great, however it doesn't meet Mexican food standards. The service was great. Parking was I little hard to find with the minimum amount of lots open and the amount of space available.
