My husband and I decided to try this place because we saw long lines the first 3 days we were in Hawaii. We both concluded that the food must be good and we checked our handy dandy Google Reviews to confirm. We joined the line and waited an hour, we got served literally 9 minutes before the doors closed. We got our food to go because there were hardly any seats and so many people left in line. We got the Beef Curry Udon and it was delicious! No complaints when it comes to the quality and taste of the food. Overall it was a great experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. At the end of the night, the long wait time/line was worth it.

You cannot leave Waikiki without going to this place once. And, you will not do it justice if you only go once. My mind is blown as to how good the food is. It’s not just good, it’s damn good. It’s want to “lick the bowl when you’re finished all the food” type of good. I just got back and my wife and I are going back tomorrow

Many great choices for Udon dishes. The Curry Udon is my favorite. You will not be disappointed in the least. Seating can be quite limited during dinner time as this is an extremely popular place. Pay no attention to how long the line looks as it moves quite quickly. Prices are very reasonable given the location and surrounding food choices.

The line moves faster than in seems. The food is hot, and it’s fresh. It indeed is worth a try, and there were locals in line who said they go there all the time. The wait is definitely worth it. The dine in seating might be a challenge because they obviously will have more customers than seats, but that too will not too long to find an open seat. If not, try to scope the seating out first and then consider taking the food back to your hotel to eat.

Go at the right time (an hour before peak hours) and you won't have to wait for long. We went around 4PM just before dinner rush hour. Ate here for the first time a couple years ago and loved it. It's still just as good. Filling & tasty. With the Nikutama, the noodles hold the broth so well, and the pork and egg just melt in your mouth. While the sides are quite greasy, the fried chicken is my favorite, chicken is tender and not dry at all.
