Great beers and REALLY great ribs. You want one of those two, or both? Just go there! Moreover, the place is really typical and the story written on the back of the menu is really interesting :).

Ribs are cooked well with an appropriate sauce. I really loved the spicy sauce, but that is a personal choice. The spinach with cheese and my spicy sauce was delish. On top of everything I just mentioned, the service and drinks were great. We will be back.

Best ribs in the city! A must try if you live here or even if you’re just visiting. A prohibition bar from that era and still has a lot of that charm. Beer list is good but you go there for the ribs and the sweet spicy prohibition sauce.

If you have to look this place up, stop reading and just go try the ribs. This is a Chicago classic and worth the trip. Great beer selection too, which is a bit surprising for such an old school joint. One other tip, make sure to try the Prohibition Sauce with the ribs. Enjoy and you're welcome.

ALWAYS ALWAYS crowded. Truly great ribs. Never have anything else so can't comment. Kitchen cooks to order. Friendly efficient service. But be prepared to wait! (Small bar area, so that's usually standing). The fact it's always packed says it all.
