Pretty disappointed. I love Halal Guys in Midtown Manhattan. This was my first visit to a Chicago location. Service was adequate. Gyro meat was room temperature. I took it to-go but ate it after leaving. There were no napkins provided in the bag. Will probably go to Mr. Gyros next time.

Just want to take notice of the staff. They work diligently to take care from the guy cooking to guy taking your order in fact most of the guys there are trained to take your order and ring which to me is a big deal for people on the go and don't have time to wait in long line. The food is simple but great one of the most flavorful not salty gyros meats I've had and you have a choice of chicken or lamb. The best falafel I have ever had with a nice crunchy not hard outside and a warm soft inside the best with the sauce so it's good if your vegan as well. Enjoy.

I was very disappointed with the quantity. It doesn't compare at all to the cart in Manhattan. It's overpriced. I ordered 2 regular sized chicken and rice platters. The guy filled up the box with lettuce, just gave a spoon of rice and a spoon of chicken and small pieces of pita bread. Usually the one in Manhattan is really hard to finish because of its quantity but over here it was very unfilling. The guy didn't even give me any white sauce, I had to ask him for it. Later on when I looked at the menu on my phone it says the regular platter includes 2 packets of white sauce. Despite the small quantity, the food was very good and so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Quick eats without compromising quality. The gyro is delicious, but I recommend the combo platter. It's the best of both worlds. Their hot sauce is amazing, but they're not joking about how spicy it is. Personally it's the thing that REALLY keeps me coming back. They also have a rewards program, and if you eat there a lot it is DEFINITELY worth it. Even if you don't, it's free to sign up, so there's no good reason not to. They're open late on weekends, so if you're out on the town it's a great place to stop on the way home since it is so close to different transit options.

Great food for the money. Never tried Mid East food. I'm not a local but am glad that there's one near where I live in Florida! Will be checking out that location soon.
