Drove by and had to stop. Such a nostalgic place and the food was delicious. 10 dollars for my plate, food is fresh and home made. Staff and other patrons who were regulars we're very kind and welcoming. 🤗

Not at all worth the cost. The food quality was pretty good. The portions are very small. Understand this is like dining in a very rustic living room staffed by family members. The staff is friendly but it's obvious from watching them work they've had no formal restaurant training. The Ham n Cheese sandwich consists of 1 slice of ham and approx 1/2 slice of cheese. Maybe the bread is amazing, I wouldn't know because I don't eat bread. The soup is served in a tea cup. The water is clearly well water, so I had to order a soda, and they charge $1.95 per 12oz can of warm soda. Since it's warm you get the added bonus of the soda going flat once you pour it over ice. FYI the soda is the 7up family of beverages and Diet Pepsi. It's not like you're getting a Stewart's or IBC soda for $2 per can.

Cute place with lots of history. Appears to be family run so that cozy home town feel. The dinning room is very small and can only handle maybe 20 people. They may want to take some space from the general store and convert to dinning space. Bit maybe they want it to stay real small. Staff was super friendly. I will go back.

Pickles is a small, cozy, family owned restaurant. Food is homemade and served in big porions. Prices are very cheap for the amount of food served. It is a very relaxed and laid back environment. Staff is very friendly. It’s attahed to an antique shop with a great history. I would recommend to anyone!

Seriously the Best food I have had in Northern Indiana! I went to Pickles for lunch with my coworkers. We did the “Pick 3” off the daily menu, the hardest part was deciding what to choose! I’ve NEVER enjoyed a meal more, or felt so comfortable than I did here! The food, atmosphere and service was incredibly good, I mean Great!
