Made a return trip to this place after enjoying the cold brew coffee on our first day in New Orleans. I enjoyed my lunch of shrimp and grits the first visit a little more than the creole omelet I had for breakfast today, but my sister’s biscuits and gravy was delicious! This restaurant has a super cute ambiance as it opens into a small courtyard. Nice spot to enjoy a quick bite!

Very busy! It took quite some time to even get my order taken. But it was worth the wait! I had the buttermilk chicken bennie. It's buttermilk fried chicken smothered in gravy over eggs on a biscuit. Too. Die. For! It was the best fried chicken I have ever had! So moist. And it had just enough spice to give it a but if heat. I really wanted to finish it because it was so good but it was a very large portion. While there, the bartender started singing a gospel song to the table next to me. What a voice! I'll be back again and again! The only reason it's not 5* was because of the wait to get served.

Absolutely loved this place. The waitresses are old school but are not rude. The food is great. A must try is their bread pudding. Banana with ice cream topped with maple walnut sauce is nice too. Did I mention my bill was anonymously taken care of too?!??

Excellent spot, tucked away in one of the French Quarters quaint alleys. We were the first to arrive for breakfast, and we're greeted warmly, and graciously. The food was freshly prepared, the portions were " just right", and the coffee was wonderful. The grits in New Orleans are the best to be found, and The Old Coffee Pot did not disappoint in this either. A friend in our group decided to change her order at the last minute and this was met with assurances that it was no problem, top notch place, don't miss it!

This poor place.... Once we got our food it was actually pretty good, but getting service was a major undertaking. I felt invisible, we seriously waited 10-15 minutes just to get menus... No joke. I was seconds from walking out when a young girl who said it was her first day saved it. Even after that guest service was an afterthought, go further away from Bourbon Street if you want a great experience. Breakfast took roughly 90 minutes.
