Disappointing, especially for the price. I was charged $13 for the smallest salad I’ve ever had. This was a side salad, not an entree, but for $13 it should have been double the size. On top of that the bartender was short and the woman bringing bread around skipped us, saying she would be right back. She never returned. The fish entrees were $36 and up, pasta dishes mid-twenties and up. Food was good but not great for these prices and portions. As usual, we had to wait at cramped bar because they don’t take reservations. There isn’t much competition in the neighborhood but I would probably not return, in spite of eating there for many years. Long story short, prices have gone up, portion size and service have gone down.

Love everything about the restaurant. Appearance, atmosphere, great energy and the quality of the food exceptional. Truly first class. Great menu and wine list. Can be a informal, casual or formal night out.

Awesome pizzas to start off with! Service is always top notch with very knowledgeable staff. Menu selection is well thought out and not stale like other wanna be Italian restaurants. Great wine selections. By far one of my favorite places in Western NY

I went to grab drinks & appetizers with friends and sat at the bar. I ordered an $8.95 Italian salad and asked the bartender if I could add chicken. This would have been the perfect time for the bartender to inform me that I should I choose to add chicken, I would incur a $26 upcharge!!! An $8.95 salad turned into a THIRTY-SOMETHING DOLLAR SALAD. When I received the bill, I asked the bartender if there had been a mistake. Surely something wasn't right. They advised me that bill was in fact correct, and when chicken is added to a salad, they charge the price of a full entree meal. Had I known this, I would have gotten the Milanese! To not inform a customer that they would be paying over a 300% upcharge is asinine. I was appalled. I paid my bill and will NEVER return.

We always stop here before shows at the UB Center for the Arts shows as it's only 10 minutes away. Our meal started with the small antipasti or charcuterie plate. Four different meats, four cheeses, artichokes, apples and pears were more than enough for two. Then the Italian salad with a shared wood oven baked pizza and we were really satisfied. The pizza had a very thin, perfectly crispy crust. No time for dessert this visit unfortunately. As always the service was outstanding. We always look forward to pout meals here.
