The food was outstanding, our waitress had plenty of personality and we weren't rushed. I thought for sure this was to be a 100% satisfaction dining experience until, the dreaded flat soda was served. Not a bubble to be found in that glass, however that would not stop me from returning. I'll just have to drink more wine.

Do not come here for a holiday meal. First we had to wait a half hour to be seated, even though we had a reservation. Then the appetizer table lacked certain foods because they never replenished them. Our main dish came while we were still eating our appetizers. Two members of our party ordered a pork dish that wasn't cooked all the way & had to be sent back. We ordered coffee and espresso and didn't receive any any spoons. When we finally did receive spoons, they were huge table spoons. When it was time for dessert, there was hardly anything left. When we complained, we were told we should have come earlier. In the end, we had no choice but to pay the added 18% gratuity and they never took anything off the check. Needless to say, we will never be back!

Do not book your event at The Village Inn. I attended 2 private events here and both times the event staff was rude and inattentive. The dishes and utensils were visibly dirty and a glass stained with lipstick was placed on the table. Fettuccine Alfredo was served at the buffet with just a large serving spoon, leading to a bigger mess. Half of the chandelier bulbs were burnt out. Water and wine was not refilled without tracking down the staff for help. The carving station was removed early and the staff declined to bring any more meat out. At one event, we forgot several small items at the venue, but called 20 minutes after leaving to get them back; the staff had already thrown them out. I cannot recommend this facility for an event of any kind.
