Superb dining experience overall. Great food, incredible service and a relaxed and hip ambiance. This is my boyfriends favorite restaurant, and when we go we usually get the same thing. 1 dozen oysters, the beet dip, the pate, and the baked chicken. If we are in the mood for desert the salted caramel chocolate torte is divine! Lastly, the social fabric cocktail is truly one of the best I've ever had. 5 stars, all around.

Nice decor. I was recommended to try the oven brick chicken. I came excited and left disappointed. It's good with crispy skin but only a few greens and what made it not worth it was the price. 36.00 for good chicken. Sorry but it's over priced. That should be half the price. Beer is 10.00 I unfortunately won't be going back.

The food is good, but stay away from this place if you want to have a good time for a weekend brunch. The hostess was simply disrespectful from the very beginning. The kind that welcomes you as if you were bothering and throws you out in an even worse manner. We hadn’t even finished our coffees (nor had received the bill) and the hostess barked at us asking us to leave, because she wanted the table free. We had not been there for more than 45min and hadn’t finished our drinks. The hostess then asked our very nice server to “get rid of them as quickly as possible”. It’s a disgrace for a place that wants to rival amongst the top restaurant and brunches in Williamsburg. The food is good but it’s no excuse to treat any client like a piece of raw meat that you want to get rid of. This is a “no tipping”’policy restaurant and it’s clearly not doing the program any favors. They’re taking advantage of this great policy and label to lower their standards and allow such behaviors by their staff. Shameful.

I've periodically had meals here over the years since their earlier days. And I understand and even appreciate the built in gratuity pricing concept...but unfortunately, it's just too pricey for what you're getting now. Their old Brick 1/2 Chicken standby entre remains consistently flavorful but it just ain't a $37 dish.

I hate giving bad reviews, but this was not a pleasant experience. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone came for a drink order. For some reason they refused to make my friend an espresso martini. This is a drink you can get a bartender at a sports bar to make. Not exactly complicated. They also have 3 entrees on their menu and were out of the one we both wanted at 8:50 on a Saturday night. This is not late for NYC standards, and with only three options you'd think they'd be better prepared. We left and had a really nice fun dinner at another trendy Williamsburg restaurant without the attitude.
