My boyfriend and I are from Florida and we were looking for BBQ and we stumbled upon this place! It was amazing!! We sat at the bar and the bartender recommended that we mix the vinegar and BBQ sauce together and wow!! He wasn’t kidding it was delicious!! Everything was great. The beers were on point and they had a nice selection of vodka and whiskey. It’s a cute little tucked in place. We will be back in June!!

I don’t have many chances to eat bbq cause I’m from Europe so I decided to trust the reviews and gave it a shot. Place is cool, many choices of beers, staff was very friendly but. My meat was completely cold. I got the brisket and pulled pork and the we’re both cold. Disappointed. I have 1 day to find a better alternative before leaving.

What’s with 2 stars and complaining about dry meat? Go to Virgil’s in Time Square for that (ate there yesterday). Walked in and said it was my first visit and I was walked through the ordering process and given advice on how much meat to order (sold by the weight). Good friendly service. I ordered 1/2 lb pork ribs and 1/4 lb (smallest portion sold) brisket. Ribs were good and brisket was even better. Asked if there was diet soda and nope. So I ordered the honey lemonade—excellent! I’ll be back to try the other meats next time I’m in NYC. I took the M train from Time Square to visit. Glad I explored beyond Midtown Manhattan.

Delicious barbeque place. Counter service with a beer hall layout. Very moist brisket which was flavorsome and tender. When I was there on a Saturday night the service was slow as there was only one staff member cutting and weighing meat with a very long line. This might be on purpose to stop the place from overfilling with people with trays of food and nowhere to sit, the rest of the place was efficient, tables were cleaned after guests very quickly. This restaurant serves Mexican coke in a glass bottle.

Very cool location. The meat is freshly cut for you and was very good. Still, it's more hype than there should be be...if you ask me 😉
