They have been and continue to be one of the best kitchens in NYC. They have a check who knows how to take very simple ingredients and turn them into slight riffs on classic dishes. The prices are up there but the quality of what they serve is worth every penny. Service can be smart or aloof depending on the night. Atmosphere, especially in the garden area on a nice night, can be a very wonderful experience.

What a very cool & causal place. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are enough. Your not starving but the food is so tasty you order one more meal to go. The cocktails are scandalous. Great place for a date or an evening with your Besties. Yes the in laws too.

No parking. Service is good and fast. Bar is well supplied and plentiful. Food is adventurous and family style meals are an option so great for groups! Price is above average but so are the meals! One restroom that is clean and unisex.

EDIT: This has become one of my favorite restaurants. Over the last year I've been here at least 7-8 times - mostly for dinner but twice for brunch. The food is always great. The menu often changes to stay original. Definitely a bonus is their commitment to use fresh and organic ingredients. Atmosphere is awesome and the service is always professional.

Quite good Italian fare, in a convivial joint. The food is good, very good on occasion. What makes the place better than "good" is the atmosphere - if you go back more than once or twice, they remember you, are genuine, and friendly, in that "trattoria in italy" kinda way. The wine list is decent, with the wines by the glass being a wee bit of the run-of-the-mill (in a good way). Oh, lastly, this outpost of Aurora is pretty good for "mommies" (think Wide Aisles to get strollers through)
