The best margaritas are in this place. Food is really delicious. Prices are really good for the quality of their drinks and food. It is really busy there though, but it’s worth the wait. Service is great even though it’s so busy and a lot of people wait outside for seating. I like it the best in the summer for the outside seating.

Good Tex-Mex restaurant. My wife enjoys her enchiladas while for me its the eggplant royal with crab sauce. The margaritas are ice cold. Always very crowded because the prices are so reasonable. So get there early. On site parking with plenty of spaces but, the parking does fill up quickly . The menu selection is ample with something for everyone plus a child's menu. Their soft drinks are extra large. Bigger enough for two to share.

Many years ago I walked into this place on the second day they were open. On the third day they were open I ordered Chicken Guadalajara. With the exception of one time a few years ago that the oven they used to make that dish was broken I've had it every time I've been there. Fresh guacamole, great chips, neat atmosphere and a line out the door most of the time. There's a reason they have been successful. Great Tex-Mex food. I only get back a few times a year now but if I'm in the area I go there for a meal. Excellent.

Jose Tejas is the best Mexican food. You get a HUGE portion for a great price. You always wait to be seated, but it's usually a quick turn around for a table. The food comes out really quick and it's always delicious. I love going here to eat. The chips and salsa and strawberry margaritas... Yum!!!! If you're contemplating going here for dinner, don't think, just go. You won't be sorry!

I LOVE Mexican so I was looking forward to eating at Jose Tejas. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the hype (or the 1hr and 40min waiting time). The tortilla chips didn't have salt - I had to squeeze my lime on them and add salt - took it from a 3 to 10 right away. The food was just okay. I will say that that they get a 5 star for prices because the food was cheap! I would probably go there again to try their margaritas, but I am not in a hurry.
