Very dated ! Needs an update in a bad way!! Smells like Clorox and sewage water! Went to dinner and sat on patio - minimal seating , no umbrella lights- SUPER difficult to read the menu and see our food!!! When we asked the manager -Liz why there were no lights/ candles ... she replied “ you’ll have to ask corporate.” Our food was marginal at best - pasta was SUPER SALTY. Brixxs has cut so many corners to save money apparently! The awesome bread we used to get with our pasta and salad has even changed to a cheap flat version. And you have ask for the bread now- the waiter said management wants to see how many people will actually ask for it?? The wait staff were all huddled together laughing w the manager! This manager clearly has no concept of what it means to manage - Once our meal was placed down , no one came back periodically to check on us. I spoke to the manager about how bad the pasta was - clearly a good manager would have comped it! I come from a long family history of restaurant owners and my husband and I have owned 3 ourselves. This chain will suffer if it doesn’t up its game! It was a great restaurant many years ago - seems its grown to the point of no control. They need to ‘undercover boss’ this Blakeny location!! And retrain Liz!!

Service was mediocre, and food left something to be desired. My daughter's alfredo was extremely plain, and she ended up eating my shrimp pasta pomodoro, which was the best of the three entrees. My husband's pasta was also plain, and the chicken he ordered as an add-on came as three small pieces. We tried the dessert, as we like chocolate, and the chocolate truffle torte was excellent. The server did make a mistake on the check, and we had to wait a while to get it corrected. With all of the other options of dining out nearby, I recommend somewhere else. Unless you want a chocolate truffle torte, and then I recommend getting it to go.

A regular stop for excellent pizza. Good selection of sandwiches, salads, and pasta, as well. Very good beer and wine selection.

We had a large party here on Sunday March 11, 2018. The service was excellent, above and beyond. Ben, our waitor was wonderful. I know, having been a waitress myself, how exhausting a large party can be. He was excellent. I would highly recommend Brixx.
