Disgusting, sick next day! The picture showed what it should have looked like - I got greasy mess that did not even taste of Mexican seasonings. The tortillas were even bad - small and mushy like. The tortilla chips were also stale. The interior looked somewhat run down in need of a refresh too. I read good reviews on here - maybe better in another life or just not attune to good food! I left a good tip for the waitress because she will surely be out of a job soon.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Raleigh, hands down. The owner, Maria and her family are amazing and make you feel like a part of their family. All of the employees have worked there for years which also says a lot because you know that they are well taken care of. My favorite things on the menu are the mango margaritas (blended), the queso, and the beef nachos (add black beans... you will thank me later). On a nice night, eating on the patio is also very relaxing. When in doubt ask for suggestions, you will not be disappointed.

As a Mexican I know what Mexican is supposed to look and taste like. I ordered a “Chile Relleno” which translates to Stuffed pepper in English. I was served a flat poblano pepper, no egg batter smothered with that cheese sauce they call ”queso.” A chile relleno usually consists of a poblano pepper that is dipped in an egg batter and fried and stuffed with a cheese that stays INSIDE the pepper hence, stuffed pepper. Anyway, they may be able to fool a caucasian or anyone of Nonhispanic descent but not me. Not to mention the “Enchiladaladas” my boyfriend ordered which were tortillas smothered in that fake Old El Paso oyt of a can “enchilada sauce.”The food was not good and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Loved this place amazing margaritas great food great atmosphere. Great staff! Only problem was not of any fault of the resturaunts but a huge family was letting their kids run around whole family screaming and flying around. Love this place otherwise

Just in town for a couple of days and was looking for GREAT authentic mexican food, this is the place that was recomended. It was fantastic! The salsa bar was amazing and we found several that we will TRY to re-create at home. Wish us luck! Maria was our hostess and she was absolutely a sweet heart! We only encountered one other employee, and she was just as sweet, making us feel welcome and ensuring we were taken care of. If i lived here, i would be back a million times over.
