The food and drinks were awesome. The atmosphere is really chill and fun. But we had a late dinner on a Friday (9pm) and they seemed to close up around 10pm, which we found very unusual for a bar in Ohio City on a Fri. They never said anything to us but people started clearing out and they brought out brooms and started wrapping up for the night. Seemed odd. But wouldn't stop me from going again or recommending it. Maybe just not late on a weekend night.

Very very small place, but you have to try it. The food is out of this world good! Not traditional Mexican but that's what makes this place. The wild boar taquitos were my husband and Is favorite! They have a great happy hour that if you play your cards right you can get out on a decent check. The waitstaff is accommodating and very friendly. We always have a good experience here.

Unique flavors and friendly staff. The bartender made some excellent recommendations. The margarita flight was very tasty and had some different flavor options. I will definitely go back.

My friends raved about the scallops here, three of us got them at our table, myself the newbie and 2 whom had them before. We all agreed they were undercooked and didn't taste fresh. The drinks and guacs were good, but the other food was too try hard and overrated. I'm not a food expert but lived in LA for 7 years and have eaten at Mexican restaurants that execute this style 100x better than Momocho. They refuse to split checks claiming it's their policy. However, they do allow more than one card to pay the bill. There is no real reason you can't do this, other than lazy pretentiousness. To top it off, it was freezing cold out, and the wait staff were constantly going in and out of the back door for supplies. We ate our $$$$$ meal enjoying the brisk breezes of Cleveland. Come here if you want to be part of the it crowd, but go elsewhere if you want to have an enjoyable dining experience eating well executed dishes.

Fantastic place. Flights of guacamole and margaritas. The food and atmosphere are very good. Not your typical cheesy Mexican place
