Great food and service! Ask for Viola! Went here after a run and they had a great selection. Everyone could find something that sounded good to them. The free pie Wednesday nights is awesome. Give it a shot. Good selection.

Host was pleasant... Shown to booth with the tabletop that could have been cleaner in a section where they sit everybody all together packed like sardines in spite of the fact the whole place was practically empty. Ordered soup and the classy Cobb salad. Requested the soup first please... Guess what? Said they had to heat the soup, which actually meant they didn't have any prepared at 4 in the afternoon! Salad came first, not after soup. Was supposed to be topped with chicken breast ,but there were four measly anemic strips of cold Chicken on it and one of them so dry and rubbery and all curled into a ball like a fortune cookie. When I showed it to the waitress she asked me what it was!!! She took the chicken back and they were going to put more chicken breast on it.turns out he had to start mire chicken... By this time, I had been there a half hour, still no soup. Time went on,45 min. still no salad! I got up and left, first paying for the iced T, as I explained to the gracious host the extent of the problems ... He apologized , understood ... tipped the waitress $1 for trying as everything was the incompetent Cook's fault. I like Village Inn, but this is the third location in town where it's been Dreadful service poor or cold food. The only place where you get constant good service good food is the 71st and Memorial across from Woodland Hills location. Avoid the rest.

The waitresses at village in night shift were amazing. I recently lost everything I had including my daughter in a house fire. The waitress overheard me and stopped to hear my story. She almost shed a tear and offered me a hot chocolate and slice of pie. She offered me kind words and told me it was on the house. I sat there for 3 hours when finally my ride came. These are genuinely real and compassionate people here. Thank you village inn.

If you need to read a review of Village Inn you probably should not be eating at Village Inn. Okay food that seems so much better at 2 am with a belly full of beer. Strong, hot coffee served in a carafe for easy refills. Free pie on Wednesday with any purchase. Clean restrooms.
